Necessary needs

I woke up to a cold and bitter morning and decided to check out Grand Island’s downtown area. Found a coffee shop, Daily Dose Cafe, that was just getting started. Grabbed a cup, sat down and worked on booking golf, updating my to do list and planning the month of May. It’s nice to project out the month, knowing full well things may change. Found myself wanting to spend a week in Oregon and less time up in Seattle which is fine.

The quiet before the chaos at the coffee shop

Meanwhile, the rain started and the coffee shop got packed so I headed out for some groceries at Hy-Vee and some gym time. Headed west and after chatting with a friend who was having a beer, I decided to do the same and found Pals Brewing Company. Couple of solid pours, had a cheeseburger pizza, grabbed a shirt and was back on the road. Kept with the theme and stayed off the interstate, choosing the US highway that runs parallel with it. Made it to Sidney, NE that evening, ready for my first of 4 rounds of golf in 6 days.

Tech support failed at fixing the TV at the brewery
