I always have a bit of mixed feelings returning to Mulvane. Easy to remember old memories, good times and the bad. While I’d be fine never coming back to the area again, the close relationships keep me visiting.
Woke up at a decent hour, but my guy Matt did not so I drove up to Derby and did some work at Dunkin. Got my Inbox ready for Monday, did some finance work, updated my list of to do’s and got some things done. Went to Planet Fitness where I ran into my friend Kristi, we chatted for a bit and I hit the 30 Minute Room to do some lifting.

Was going to go grocery shopping, but held off, enjoying the afternoon at the house with Matt and the pup. We put a game plan in place for the afternoon, deciding to play Cribbage out in Wichita before having dinner. Always up for a game of cards.

Cards went well for Matt early, almost got double skunked but survived. Leslie joined us for dinner at one of my favorite restaurants in Wichita called Sabor Latin Bar and Grille in Old Town. Great food, even better conversation. Got to hit up the grocery store after, much to Matt’s protesting and enjoyed a quiet evening back at the casa.
