I had spent the night previously scouting out some spots and started the day at Crema Coffee Roasters. I could tell the place was going to get busy and since it was a really nice weather morning, I sat outside. I was glad I did as the shop was slammed throughout my time there. I wouldn’t have heard a word a client said, but it was nice to be outside, cup of coffee and a peaceful start to the day.

Ended up doing some parking lot hopping and working from there. Fresh Market, Publix (for groceries also) plus a couple of gas stations as I was going to pop into a place to get the oil changed. Unfortunately the wait was too long and I wanted to continue driving through Nashville before I left the city. Revisited some neighborhoods I had seen previously (12 South, The Gulch, Germantown) and ended up routing myself to a Valvoline for an oil change on the west side before bidding Nashville farewell.

I think Nashville has a lot to offer. It’s a smaller town overall compared to Charlotte but there’s a lot of similarities. I wondered as I left the area if that was a negative or not. Do I want to live in a place that’s so new to me or has some of the familiarities of home. Unsure, but it was something to think about. Made it to Dickson, TN for the night, jogged/walked a trail that used to be a golf course, some calls with friends and another evening in the books.
