I woke up and noticed my first meeting wasn’t until 10 AM local, so I immediately got on the road and headed west. Stopped in Jackson, TN and had some coffee plus a few meetings at Green Frog Coffee. Nice place, really big menu, locals definitely seemed to flock to the place. Not many outlets for plugging in, fortunately the seat I chose had a hidden one just below the cushion.

Been happy with my lifestyle this week, stayed away from eating out, haven’t had a beer yet. Down 5 pounds in 5 days, which is what I knew I could do. Just have to stay consistent. Kept driving west, pausing at times to take a meeting or talk to a client. Also got to catch up with Matt for about 1.25 hours as he was driving to KC. So clutch to have that companion on the drive, makes the time go by quicker.
Made it across state lines and entered into Arkansas. I’ve got a golf round tomorrow, 4 in 6 days in fact. Should be a good week, I put a lot of time into work so I could have a bit of coasting. Wanting to show my value at work, for sure. Grabbed a cigar from the local smoke shop, did some reading, caught the blog up to current and relaxed before calling it a night.
