Bourbon baby

I wanted to explore the Crescent Hill area of Louisville in the morning so I ventured over and found what I thought was a great spot to work for the morning. Unfortunately, the coffee shop I chose was only open Fri-Sun, so I pivoted to the Clifton neighborhood and worked for the AM. Great spot, had some nice outdoor seating and really enjoyed the vibe. It was another Heine Brothers, seemed to be a popular franchise in the area.

Mobile office, will travel

During the lunch hour, I decided to go for a jog on the Beargrass Creek Greenway, which proved to be a good choice. Slightly too urban, but what do you expect in the middle of the city? Didn’t have the same vibe as some greenways back home, but still did the trick. Got to catch up with a coworker and enjoy the great weather.

Proof of trail and myself on it

Left the area and grabbed a shower, working from the parking lot for a bit out of the van. The ability to just work wherever has turned out to be something I really enjoy. I relocated to another Heine in the same shopping area as where I showered and finished up the work day. Headed to my sleeping spot for the night and decided to walk over to a liquor store. Been looking for an Old Forester 1924 and what do you know…

One for me and one for my boy

Felt good finding it, looking forward to tasting it with a few friends in the next few weeks. Back to the parking lot, had a cigar, talked to my sister Kelly and enjoyed a sunset.

Midwest sunsets always impress
