I’ve left one best friend and moved in with another. Brandon and his family are my hosts for the next few days as I continue my time in the Midwest. As the theme continues, I was steady at work but not terribly bad. The elder Bauers and I ended up heading to Legends in KC for some dinner at Anejo. Really good Mexican food, enjoyed the time and the conversation. We were able to get back to the house and try a few new bourbons which is always a fun experience.
Of course, a visit with friends wouldn’t be complete without me making friendly with the family pet. Here’s Freya, in all her glory. She’s not overly a fan of new men in her life, but I think she recalled who I was from my prior visit. Needless to say she received many pets and scratches from me throughout my visit.
