Today’s journey had me continuing south. After a workout and some shopping for golf apparel, I ended up in downtown Franklin, TN. Definitely worth checking out if you have not been, a good amount of shopping with some businesses and restaurants. Good amount of construction going on, you probably could spend a few hours exploring the various streets. I’ve been before, walked a bit and almost stopped in at Leiper’s Fork Distillery but decided better. I’ll have to try and snag a taste somewhere. If you’re ever in the Nashville area, take a few hours to walk the downtown streets there.

Overall, big fan of Franklin. Good balance of commercial and residential, I’ll try to do a bit of “what does $500K get you” in the area. From what I saw, it’s likely a townhome with about 1,300 square feet. A very basic 1 bed/bath on Main St, 500+ sq ft goes for $245K. Pricey.
Kept the adventure moving south and landed in Spring Hill, TN. Found my way to The Awaken House to work for the afternoon. Huge property, taco truck on site, great place to be indoors or outdoors. It’s a bit off the beaten path but they’ve done a really nice job with it.

| Really nice property, all the devices spread out and a great vibe at the coffeehouse |
Good amount of building going on, $500K gets you some nice, new properties in the mid-2,000 sq ft range. Similar to Franklin, there’s a few condos here but the value is relatively the same as the suburb to the north. The rest of the town was mostly uneventful, seems like a good balance of city and country living out here. Some new growth in a few areas, but being right off of I-65 it’s a good spot. Probably just a little too small for my liking though.
Speaking of small, tomorrow I’ll head further south, to Columbia, TN. From there, planned the weekend out and have a few fun things in store, including my first round of golf on this trip starting Friday. I ended up spending the evening doing a workshop for my job, then hanging out in the van. Didn’t do much exploring, felt low key. Connected with a few people and enjoyed the night, but it was low key for sure.
