Supposedly there’s around 60-ish “National Parks” in the US territories. Another 430+ that are “system units” I guess, as part of the U.S. National Park Service. I’d never been to the closest one to me, Kings Mountain. Decided to hit some trails there, explore the area. Grabbed a late lunch at a really good burger spot called Hoof and Barrel.

After the day of nature, headed back north to the Fortress for some Charlotte FC soccer. Inter Miami came to town and my guy Larry had an extra seat. Pre-game at Clutch, great seats for the match, a draw, no Messi as he didn’t travel. But a really nice day doing some wonderful things around the area.
