Factor in some balance

I’m starting to find a stride. Another day in the Nashville metro, I’m trying to explore all the city and surrounding areas has to offer. Today I decided to head south to check out the Franklin suburb. I’ve been here once before, but I’m excited to see more of what the town has to offer. Huge growth here in the last 15 years, estimates have it increasing by 50% in population during that timeframe.

Decided to postpone the morning workout and headed to The Factory at Franklin.

A really well constructed campus

Mixed use property, combines a food hall with retail and other businesses. I got there around 9 AM and by the time I left later that afternoon the place was buzzing. Couple of really strong restaurant offerings, found a spot to work and connected with clients before popping back to the van for a few afternoon meetings including my exit interview from RMH.

From there, I kept with the Trail theme and found a really strong nature trail in the Westhaven neighborhood. Totally curated, high end neighborhood and right in the middle were a dozen or more trails. Did a 4.3 mile hike, almost 900 feet of elevation change, rugged and felt like I was anywhere but steps away from urban life. Real gem of a find, was happy to have stumbled upon it.

Turned out to be a beautiful day, felt like I was anywhere but next to this community

After the hike, ran a few errands, cleaned up, groceries and enjoyed a peaceful evening. Got some reading in, connected with a few friends and wound down for the night.
